Ohio Garrison invades Great American Ball Park this Saturday to do a meet and greet with Reds fans during the ball game.

Is in Niles, OH is this weekend, June 11-13! Be sure to stop by on Saturday for the Red Cross blood drive in support of the Legion Charity Challenge.

The Ohio Garrison now has a YoutTube account to host footage from events, montages, interviews, etc, and we are looking for submissions from the membership! See the thread in the "OG member support" section of the forums for more info.

Today, My 1st is 5/01, which means that it is 501st day! There are Free Comic Book Day events going on all over the state, all day. What better way to celebrate 501st day than by getting out there and Trooping! May is shaping up to be a busy month, culminating in Marcon in Columbus, May 28-30, 2010. Keep your eyes on the event section and keep on Trooping.

Eric Seeman donated a Kidney to fellow Legion member Jeff Ronanoff at the Cleveland Clinic. Now, in honor of the one year anniversary of the kidney transplant between Eric and Jeff, the Ohio Garrison and the Great Lakes Base of the Rebel Legion will be making a return visit to visit some of sick children at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital this Friday, April 2nd.

Good evening troops, I just realized I have not posted a news entry since the end of the first ever Ohio Garrison Election for CO. I basically wanted to thank everyone for their support, in electing myself CO and I will do all that I can to help this group grow in the coming months. I also wanted to remind all who may be interested, to apply for the Ohio Garrison's Command Staff openings. Please be sure to hurry to the Members section and post interest as there is still time, but we will be making selections this weekend.

Just a reminder to all members of the Ohio Garrison. Elections are currently happening throughout the Legion. Please be sure to check in the member's section here in our own forums as well as the main 501st Legion boards to keep up to date on the election process.

Thank you to all who came out and made the trip to the Winter Social. It was great to see all in person out side of an event, and attendance like we had is what makes these events what they are. There will be a large amount of trooping events in the new year such as OhayoCon, The Hockey Game in Youngstown, the Dayton Metro Library Event, Techfest in Dayton, and so much more.

Also keep in mind that with February 1st comes a new election year so be sure to keep up to date on the Members only section of the message boards.
